Role Description The Deputy Manager, Production Planning Control is a full-time on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for creating and managing production plans, aligning daily schedules with demand forecasts, and coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely output. The role involves monitoring capacity utilization, tracking material availability, managing inventory levels, and resolving bottlenecks to maintain smooth production flow. The Deputy Manager will analyze production data, prepare reports, and support decision-making related to resource allocation, lead times, and efficiency improvements. This role also contributes to implementing best practices in planning systems, supporting audits, and driving adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Schedules to develop, adjust, and monitor daily and long-term plans.
Candidates should possess skills in Capacity Planning and Inventory Control to optimize resource utilization and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive industry production planning and control.
Proficiency in ERP or planning software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
