Role Description The Batching Plant Service Engineer is responsible for providing full-time remote support, guidance, and coordination for the installation, maintenance, and repair of batching plants at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, advising on troubleshooting steps, coordinating field service activities, and offering technical support to on-site technicians and operators. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, recommending preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring that service interventions meet safety and quality standards. The engineer will document service activities, maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams, and assist in training site personnel on proper operation and basic maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in batching plants.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including coordination of on-site visits and support for customer operations.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote diagnostics, guidance, and documentation of solutions.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for batching plant equipment and related machinery.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or a related field) is preferred.
Experience with construction or industrial equipment, especially batching plants or similar machinery, is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple service requests, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with safety standards, equipment manuals, and basic PLC/control systems is beneficial.
