About the Role
We are seeking an visionary, dynamic, and research-driven academic leader to step into the role of Principal for our AICTE-approved and University-affiliated Engineering Institute.
As the Principal, you will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer, driving institutional growth, curriculum modernizations (integrating cutting-edge AI/CSE technologies), NBA/NAAC accreditations, industry-academia partnerships, and high-impact research.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & Administrative Leadership: Provide strategic direction to all engineering departments with a strong focus on aligning CSE/AI programs with global industry demands.
Accreditation & Compliance: Lead and ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies (AICTE, UGC, Affiliated University) and spearhead campaigns for NAAC, NBA, and NIRF rankings.
Research & Innovation: Drive R&D initiatives, secure government/industry research grants, foster patents, and cultivate an ecosystem for student/faculty startups and incubation centers.
Industry Collaboration: Establish strong ties with IT and AI tech companies to secure placements, internships, guest lectures, and industry-sponsored labs.
Faculty & Student Mentorship: Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier academic talent; promote faculty development programs (FDPs) in emerging technologies like Generative AI, Cloud Computing, and Data Science.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related technical field from a recognized university/institution of repute.
Eligibility: Must fulfill AICTE / UGC norms for the position of Principal/Professor.
Experience:
Minimum 10–15+ years of combined experience in Teaching, Research, and Academic Administration.
At least 3–5 years in a senior administrative leadership role (e.g., Dean, Head of Department, Vice-Principal, or Director/Principal).
Research Track Record: Substantial list of high-impact publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, patents, and successful research grant acquisitions.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Expertise in modern pedagogical trends, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and multidisciplinary learning under NEP guidelines.
