Role Description
The Vice President of Technology is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision and strategy. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of core platforms, infrastructure, and applications supporting digital asset and financial services operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technology teams, prioritizing and managing projects, aligning IT initiatives with business goals, and establishing best practices for security, reliability, and scalability. The Vice President of Technology collaborates closely with executive leadership, product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure technology roadmaps support regulatory requirements and organizational growth. The role also includes mentoring technology leaders, optimizing vendor and partner relationships, and continuously assessing emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess technical risks, and support informed strategic decision-making.
Extensive experience in Information Technology, including infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems architecture.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns technology investments with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Proven Project Management experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing budgets and timelines, and delivering technology solutions at scale.
Expertise in Strategic Planning, including building long-term technology roadmaps, resource planning, and organizational capability development.
Prior leadership experience in technology management, with a track record of building and mentoring diverse, high-performing teams.
Familiarity with financial services or digital asset/fintech environments, including security, compliance, and risk management considerations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote setting.
