Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an PRT English Teacher based at Sunflag School in Bhandara. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for the assigned grades. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching English language and literature, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, supporting students’ individual learning needs, and fostering critical thinking and communication skills. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills and be able to instruct students in language and literature effectively.
Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education-related skills to design structured, age-appropriate learning activities.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly with students, colleagues, and families.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred.
Prior experience teaching English at school level, preferably in CBSE or similar curriculum.
Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and support diverse learning needs.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
