Role Description The Content Researcher Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting Laneway’s consulting, technology, and media projects through high-quality research and content development. Day-to-day tasks include conducting desk research on industries, markets, competitors, and emerging trends; synthesizing insights into clear summaries, briefs, and reports; and supporting content planning for blogs, case studies, presentations, and social media. The intern will collaborate with consultants and media teams to gather information, validate data sources, and contribute to content outlines and strategy documents. The role also involves organizing research findings, maintaining knowledge repositories, and ensuring that all content is accurate, well-structured, and aligned with Laneway’s brand and client needs.
Qualifications
Strong Research and Analytical Skills to gather, interpret, and synthesize data from diverse sources.
Solid Writing and Content Strategy abilities to create clear summaries, structured briefs, and support content planning.
Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings in a concise manner.
Detail orientation and ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) and comfort working with digital collaboration platforms.
Interest in consulting, technology, start-ups, or digital media; prior project or internship experience in these areas is an advantage.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Business, Communications, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
