Role Description As a Graphic Designing Intern at Laneway, you will support the design team in creating visual assets for consulting, technology, and media projects in a remote internship role. Your day-to-day tasks will include assisting with graphics for social media and digital campaigns, designing logos and brand elements, and preparing visual materials that align with client brand guidelines. You will work on image editing, layout design, and basic visual storytelling for presentations, pitch decks, and marketing collateral. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback to refine designs, and maintaining consistent visual standards across different platforms. You will also have opportunities to learn about branding strategy, digital marketing, and design workflows in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear and engaging visual assets.
Experience or training in Logo Design and Branding, including developing cohesive visual identities and brand elements.
Proficiency in Image Editing using common design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar software).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Basic understanding of digital and social media content formats, layouts, and design best practices.
Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
A portfolio or sample of previous design work demonstrating creativity and design fundamentals is strongly preferred.
