Role Description The Vice President of Technology Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the technology vision, strategy, and delivery for FundsFlow - Deal Services. This role oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of technology platforms that support live deal models and closing processes across multiple asset classes. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT strategy, supervising technology projects, managing vendor and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and compliant. The Vice President collaborates with operations, product, and client teams to identify requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in tools and workflows. This position also mentors technology team members, sets performance goals, and establishes standards and best practices for technology management.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex transactional data and translate it into actionable technology requirements.
Expertise in Information Technology and IT Strategy, with a track record of designing and managing technology solutions in a financial services or transaction-oriented environment.
Proven experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of technology initiatives on time and within budget.
Demonstrated capability in Strategic Planning, particularly in aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives and growth priorities.
Experience leading distributed or remote technology teams, with effective communication and collaboration skills across time zones.
Familiarity with tools and platforms used in financial operations, data management, and workflow automation; experience with cloud-based architectures is beneficial.
Background in investment funds, M&A, or deal operations is an advantage, with understanding of closing processes and stakeholder requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
Ability to operate independently, make informed decisions, and adapt to evolving business and technology needs in a high-pressure environment.
