Vice President of Enterprise Architecture

Company Description FundsFlow - Deal Services is a specialist provider of deal close modeling and coordination services for investment funds operations, corporate M&A, and fundraising activities. The company uses a single live model built directly from transaction documents to manage and track all closing outputs for every stakeholder. FundsFlow supports coordinated closings across private equity, real estate, venture, and infrastructure transactions. The team focuses on delivering accurate, streamlined closings within three to four working days, helping clients reduce complexity, improve transparency, and enhance operational efficiency.
Role Description The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and leading the enterprise-wide architecture strategy that supports FundsFlow’s deal services platform. This role oversees the design and alignment of application, data, and integration architectures to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for complex financial transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into architectural roadmaps, standards, and reference designs. The Vice President provides technical leadership on software development initiatives, evaluates emerging technologies, and ensures architectural governance and best practices are followed. This position also contributes to long-term technology vision, supports performance and resiliency improvements, and mentors architecture and engineering talent across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Architecture, with a proven record of designing and implementing enterprise-level frameworks and standards.
Hands-on experience in Application Architecture, including designing scalable, cloud-based platforms and microservices for complex transaction processing.
Proficiency in Data Modeling and data architecture, enabling robust, consistent, and secure data structures to support analytics and reporting.
Background in Software Development, with the ability to guide engineering teams on best practices, technology choices, and implementation approaches.
Experience in financial services, investment funds, M&A, or related domains is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives, communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and make informed strategic decisions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), integration patterns, APIs, and security architectures.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment, with strong organizational and self-management skills.
