About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET and enterprise systems to join our dynamic technology team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and modernizing critical business applications that support our organization’s operational needs. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong professional background in software development with extensive experience in the .NET ecosystem, including both .NET Framework and modern .NET versions. A solid understanding of SQL Server, including database schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning, is required. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux environments, troubleshooting, and deploying applications in cloud-native settings. Experience with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and REST API development and integration is crucial. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications utilizing C# and .NET technologies, including both legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET platforms. Take ownership of significant portions of the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Work closely with SQL Server to design schemas, optimize queries, and implement stored procedures for performance enhancement. Lead modernization efforts by containerizing existing applications using Docker and contributing to orchestration strategies with Kubernetes or similar tools. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, clarify requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Challenge existing requirements when necessary to identify potential risks or improvements, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient systems. Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating internal and third-party systems seamlessly. Apply sound software design principles, adhere to coding standards, and document technical decisions to facilitate maintainability. Identify and address technical debt proactively, and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability. Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design, and operational procedures to support long-term system health and knowledge transfer.
