Role Description The Accountant role at R.K. Distributor is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakori. The accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including maintaining ledgers, recording transactions, preparing invoices, and reconciling accounts. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with inventory-related accounting for ayurvedic medicines and sports goods, and preparing periodic financial reports. The accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, support budgeting and cash flow monitoring, and coordinate with management to provide accurate financial data for decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel) for data entry and analysis.
Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash handling with accuracy.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with sales, inventory, and management teams.
Prior experience in retail, distribution, or trading environments is an advantage.
Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
High level of integrity, reliability, and readiness to work on-site in Kakori on a full-time basis.
