About the Opportunity:
The SALESFORCE DEVELOPER role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that support mission-critical public sector operations. This position combines strong coding and declarative configuration skills to deliver compliant, high-quality applications. The developer collaborates closely with architects, analysts, and project managers to translate business needs into effective Salesforce configurations and customizations.
Responsibilities:
Configure and enhance Salesforce platform using out-of-the-box features with a focus on scalable design.
Support Salesforce Service Cloud implementation for investigative case management including workflows and reporting.
Configure and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud portals for secure external user access.
Build declarative solutions using Flow, validation rules, approval processes, and other Salesforce tools.
Evaluate requests for custom development and determine when Apex, Lightning Web Components, or integrations are needed.
Develop, test, and deploy Salesforce functionalities following change control and security protocols.
Manage data migration planning and execution, ensuring data quality.
Support data governance, user acceptance testing, and production readiness.
Maintain technical documentation including configuration details and user support materials.
Communicate technical decisions clearly to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Manage DevSecOps pipeline.
Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in requirements refinement, solution design, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
Support security and compliance activities related to Authority to Operate processes.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle.
Write efficient, scalable code adhering to best practices.
Integrate Salesforce with other systems ensuring seamless interoperability.
Perform code reviews and troubleshoot issues.
Stay current with Salesforce updates and industry trends.
Requirements:
Experience supporting Salesforce platforms within Department of Defense environments.
1-3 years of data migration experience involving third-party tools to Salesforce.
Must be a US Citizen and pass required pre-employment qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum three years of Salesforce development experience.
Ability to work in a primarily office-based, climate-controlled environment.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Developer: $120,000 – $135,000
