About The Role
We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that support system accreditation efforts for our government clients. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to develop, enhance, and maintain secure software applications that facilitate operational efficiency and compliance. The role involves creating comprehensive documentation, implementing controls, and supporting system security requirements through the full software development lifecycle. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and engineers is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs and security standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in software development. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a master's degree. Professional experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, combined with back-end programming skills in Java, Python, or C#, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in architectural and design patterns, including MVC, RESTful API design, and common creational/behavioral patterns like Singleton, Factory, and Observer. Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, along with version control systems like Git, is also necessary. Additionally, candidates must have experience creating detailed technical documentation to support system accreditation and security compliance.
Responsibilities
Develop applications aimed at enhancing user interfaces, enabling operators, and increasing the effectiveness of operational tasks.
Identify opportunities where technology can improve current processes through automation and advanced data management.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, and deployment of secure solutions.
Design, prototype, and implement web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
Utilize Python and web frameworks like Django to build accessible, user-friendly applications.
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers to troubleshoot and enhance user interface capabilities.
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to improve user experience and ensure implementation requirements are met.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation supporting system security and accreditation processes.
