We are an early stage company building product alongside our first cohort of facility partners. The team is small and the work is real. What we build decides whether a nurse spends the shift charting or caring for residents, and whether an operator gets paid for care already delivered.
We're hiring a Project and Implementation Manager who can run the engineering plan on Monday and stand in a facility with the nursing staff on Thursday. Inside the company, you're the project manager across engineering, keeping the plan honest and releases on the dates we promised. Out in the field, you lead rollouts of the MaxiCare EMR into skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, from kickoff through go live. What you see on the floor of a building shapes what engineering builds next, and you keep that loop tight.

Responsibilities
Engineering Project Management
Run project plans for engineering work across the platform, tracking scope, dependencies, risks, and dates in Jira
Run the cadence meetings that keep work moving, and surface slips early enough to act on them
Coordinate release readiness with engineering, product, and QA so nothing reaches a facility as a surprise
Facility Rollouts
Lead each implementation from contract signature through go live: rollout plan, configuration, data migration checkpoints, user setup, training, and cutover
Travel to facilities for kickoffs, training, and go live, and stay until the building is running on MaxiCare
Work side by side with administrators, directors of nursing, MDS coordinators, business office managers, and floor staff
Communication and Risk
Keep facility leadership, our executive team, and engineering informed with clear status reports
Own the issue log and escalations, and know which problems can wait until after go live and which cannot
Playbooks
Build and maintain the implementation playbook, checklists, and templates
Improve them after every rollout so each facility goes live faster than the last
Education
A four year college degree from an accredited institution.
Experience
Ten or more years as a project manager, with a record of delivering complex projects on schedule
A background in skilled nursing or assisted living facility management and operations: census, admissions, MDS, care plans, and billing
Experience leading software rollouts into facilities from kickoff through go live, ideally an EMR or other clinical system
Experience running project plans with software engineering teams, including sprints, backlogs, and releases
Hands on Jira and Confluence
Native English language proficiency for training sessions, go live meetings, and status calls
Daily comfort with AI tools, Anthropic Claude in particular
Willingness to travel to facilities regularly, sometimes on short notice
Authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred
Prior role as a nursing home administrator, executive director, assistant administrator, or operations lead in an SNF or ALF
PMP, PMI ACP, or a comparable project management certification
Experience with PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or other long term care EMRs, including moving facilities off them
Data migration and cutover planning for a clinical system
Familiarity with CMS requirements, PDPM, and state survey expectations as they affect go live planning
Experience at an early stage software company
Travel
Regular travel to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities for rollouts, training, and go live support, plus occasional on site team meetings where we work through product design and architecture strategy together. Some trips will come up on short notice.
