Role Overview:
We are looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer with experience in façade, aluminium window and door systems. The role will be responsible for preparing AutoCAD drawings, quantity take-offs, BOQs and project estimates, while supporting the Sales & Technical teams in tendering and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare window/door elevation, plan, section and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop system-wise drawings, profile assemblies and fabrication/installation details.
Prepare window schedules, quantity take-offs, BOQs and project estimates.
Work on estimation software such as Windowmaker, Eva or equivalent.
Review architectural/tender drawings and identify project requirements.
Coordinate with Sales, customers, consultants, system suppliers and project teams.
Revise drawings and estimates based on project/customer requirements.
Support Sales team with technical inputs, quotations and value-engineering solutions.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and architectural drawings.
Experience in aluminium windows, doors, façade or glazing systems.
Good understanding of profiles, glass, hardware and accessories.
Experience in estimation, BOQ and quantity take-offs.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail with good coordination skills.
Preferred: Experience with Windowmaker / Eva / similar estimation software and knowledge of window fabrication & assembly.
Ideal Candidate: A proactive and detail-oriented professional who can independently handle design, estimation and tender support activities and work closely with Sales and Technical teams.
