About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Quality Manager to take complete ownership of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function for our polymer compounding operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in plastics/polymer compounding, injection molding, engineering plastics or a related polymer-processing industry, with the ability to independently handle customer quality requirements, complaints, audits, supplier quality, ISO documentation and overall quality systems.
This is a key position that will work closely with Production, R&D, Sales, Purchase, Suppliers and Customers to ensure consistent product quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Quality & Complaints
Take complete ownership of customer quality complaints from receipt to final closure.
Analyze complaints using appropriate root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
Prepare and coordinate 8D, CAPA, RCA, corrective and preventive action reports.
Coordinate with Production/R&D to identify and eliminate recurring quality issues.
Communicate directly with customers regarding technical and quality-related issues.
Maintain complete records of complaints, investigations, corrective actions and closure.
Track complaint trends and identify opportunities for preventive action.
2. Customer Audits
Coordinate and independently handle customer quality audits.
Prepare the organization for customer visits and quality assessments.
Ensure all required documents, records, specifications, test reports and process controls are available.
Coordinate responses to audit observations and ensure timely closure of findings.
Maintain customer-specific quality requirements and documentation.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Polymer Technology, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Additional qualification in Quality Management will be an advantage.
Experience:
7–10+ years of relevant industrial experience.
Experience in plastics, polymer compounding, engineering plastics, masterbatch, injection molding or related polymer-processing industries is strongly preferred.
Candidates with strong experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in plastics manufacturing will be preferred.
