Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Collection Officers and Assistant Branch Managers based in Tamil Nadu, India. Collection Officers will be responsible for managing loan repayment follow-ups, conducting field visits, maintaining accurate collection records, and supporting customers with repayment queries while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. Assistant Branch Managers will oversee branch operations, supervise collection and customer service activities, ensure compliance with internal processes, and support business growth through customer engagement and local outreach. Both roles will collaborate with branch teams to resolve customer issues, provide timely reporting, and contribute to the overall performance and reputation of the branch.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection skills, including field collections, follow-up, and repayment monitoring.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review customer profiles, assess repayment risks, and interpret branch performance data.
Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities to handle queries, build trust, and maintain long-term relationships with borrowers.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Finance knowledge, especially in lending, microfinance products, and repayment processes.
Relevant experience in microfinance, banking, or NBFC operations is beneficial.
Minimum educational qualification of a higher secondary certificate; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally for field visits, and adapt to diverse socio-economic environments.
Proficiency in local languages of Tamil Nadu and basic computer skills (MS Office, digital data entry) is preferred.
Strong ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to responsible collection and customer treatment practices.
