Role Description This is a full-time, remote Canada/USA IT Recruiter role. The IT Recruiter will manage end-to-end hiring processes for technical positions across Canada and the United States, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, building effective job descriptions, and leveraging job boards, social media, and professional networks to attract qualified talent. The recruiter will conduct candidate assessments, maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The role also involves staying current on market trends, providing data-driven hiring insights, and supporting continuous improvement of recruitment strategies.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Full-life Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Strong background in IT Recruitment and Technical Recruiting, with familiarity across multiple technology stacks and IT roles.
Hands-on experience with Hiring processes and general Recruiting, including using ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Canada and the USA.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple requisitions, and meet hiring timelines.
Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. hiring practices and employment norms; experience in agency or in-house tech recruiting is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory hiring practices.
