Assistant FP&A Analyst

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and consolidate financial reporting for LBEs, Plan, Update & LRP cycles based on global/intercon/affiliate policies, processes, and guidance, including input into planning systems. Support with partnering with commercial and shared service teams in the areas of financial analysis and forecasting.
Consolidate monthly LBEs and support with the preparation and consolidation of the annual planning processes.
Monitor, analyse, and review SG&A spending.
Interpret financial information to support sound financial and operational decision-making.
Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to decision-making through effective business partnering.
Support with preparation of Demand presentation slides, updating reporting and planning systems for Business Units supported.
Support ad hoc supply processes and data loads
Ensure financial results are recorded in compliance with AbbVie financial policies and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Work effectively within a matrixed organization and collaborate with shared service providers where relevant.
Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures.
Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
Adhere to AbbVie’s codes of conduct and compliance processes, including timely training and maintaining ethics and integrity.
Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and desirable working towards CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or MBA.
1-2 years’ experience in finance business partnering or FP&A.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
Experience working with shared service providers and within a matrix organization preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other complex commercial environments preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Execute priorities established by leader with speed and agility in responding to urgent business needs and consistently meet deadlines.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working through issues without clear solutions.
High level of commitment to high quality work and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization.
Strong data reconciliation skills with attention to data accuracy and controls
Moderate to advanced Excel and spreadsheet capability essential.
Knowledge of SAP, TM1 and PowerBI experience preferred
Exposure to AI, machine learning and predictive modelling preferred
