Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Magento Developer based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Magento Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce platforms, including building new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions. Day-to-day activities include implementing back-end logic, integrating third-party services and APIs, and managing databases, as well as handling front-end tasks such as themes, layouts, and responsive UI components. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality releases, troubleshooting production issues, and performing code reviews to uphold coding standards. The Magento Developer will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in sprint planning, and continuously improve existing solutions in line with evolving business and user requirements.
Qualifications
Strong back-end web development skills, including Magento (preferably Magento 2), PHP, and experience with database design and optimization.
Front-end development skills with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI frameworks for e-commerce storefronts.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and general programming best practices.
Experience building and maintaining e-commerce applications, including payment gateway integration, catalog management, and checkout flows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to analyze requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver clean, secure, and maintainable code.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
Experience with performance tuning, caching strategies, and security best practices in web applications
