Responsibilities:
Design, provision and maintain cloud resources as code (Infrastructure as Code)
Operate and evolve our multi-cluster, multi-environment Kubernetes platform
Maintain and improve our GitOps-based delivery and promotion workflows
Operate core platform components (networking/gateway, certificates, DNS, secrets, policies, backups, databases)
Support identity and access management across clusters and applications
Own our CI/CD pipelines, container registry and image scanning / promotion gates
Ensure dependency and supply-chain hygiene across our services
Run monitoring, alerting and observability; drive incident response and continuous improvement
Enforce security best practices (policy-as-code, secret management, least-privilege access)
Document architecture and operational procedures
Education:
HTL or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Experience:
3+ years hands-on experience with DevOps, Platform engineering — or a developer motivated to move into DevOps
Kubernetes experience in production (multi-cluster, multi-environment)
Solid Infrastructure as Code experience and Git-based change workflows
Experience with GitOps and CI/CD
Comfortable with Linux, containers and networking basics
Ability to debug live systems (logs, metrics, traces, cluster events)
Knowledge of industrial IoT technology (HW, SW) is beneficial
CKA or CKS certification is beneficial (not required)
Languages:
Fluent in English (business-professional level, verbal & written
German is beneficial
