Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and disciplined Field Officer to oversee security operations across multiple client sites on the Mumbai Western Line.
This is a field-intensive operational role requiring strong command over deployed security personnel, site discipline, SOP compliance, client coordination, manpower supervision, incident handling, and regular site inspections.
The selected candidate will act as a key operational link between the company, security personnel, site supervisors, and clients, ensuring that every assigned location operates according to defined standards and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee security operations across multiple assigned client sites.
- Conduct regular and surprise site visits to verify manpower availability, discipline, grooming, alertness, and deployment standards.
- Ensure strict implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Post Instructions, Security Protocols, and Client Requirements.
- Supervise Security Guards, Head Guards, Supervisors, and other deployed personnel.
- Verify attendance, shift deployment, relievers, absenteeism, and manpower shortages.
- Ensure all security posts are adequately manned and operational at all times.
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure proper handover between outgoing and incoming security personnel.
- Monitor registers, gate passes, visitor records, vehicle movements, patrol records, incident reports, and other security documentation.
- Identify operational gaps and immediately initiate corrective action.
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, Recruitment, and Control Room teams for manpower requirements and replacements.
- Maintain regular communication with client representatives, Administration Teams, Facility Managers, and Security Heads.
- Address site-level operational concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Handle security incidents, emergencies, escalations, misconduct, absenteeism, and deployment issues.
- Conduct preliminary incident assessments and prepare accurate reports for management.
- Ensure personnel comply with uniform, grooming, punctuality, conduct, and workplace discipline standards.
- Conduct periodic refresher briefings and on-site training for deployed security personnel.
- Ensure guards understand their duties, emergency procedures, escalation matrix, access-control procedures, and site-specific risks.
- Monitor performance of supervisors and security teams across assigned sites.
- Support new site mobilisation, manpower deployment, site takeover, and initial operational stabilisation.
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, observations, deficiencies, corrective actions, and client feedback.
- Escalate serious operational or client concerns to senior management without delay.
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security operations, field operations, or site supervision.
- Strong experience in managing multiple security sites and deployed manpower.
- Good understanding of security operations, SOP implementation, access control, patrolling, incident management, and site discipline.
- Strong leadership and command over field personnel.
- Ability to independently handle operational issues and take timely decisions.
- Excellent understanding of deployment planning, shift management, absenteeism control, and manpower coordination.
- Comfortable travelling extensively across the Mumbai Western Line for regular and emergency site visits.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare clear operational reports and maintain documentation.
- Physically active and comfortable working in a field-intensive environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when operational situations require intervention.
Preferred Profile

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Prior experience with a reputed private security agency.
- Managed multiple corporate, commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or institutional security sites.
- Experience supervising large security manpower deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Mumbai Western Line locations and travelling routes.
- Experience handling client escalations and operational audits.
- Experience in new site mobilisation and deployment.
- Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, basic security audits, and incident reporting.
