To assist in checking proper machine functioning, ensuring SOPs being followed while operating machines & Shade Matching.
Taking shop-floor rounds to check machines for correct technical parameters such as speed, time, temperature, steam flow, batch alignment etc. Informing electrical maintenance personnel in case of any machine issues identified Checking proper SOP adherence by workers while operating machines Reporting off-standards Matching shift-wise production level against shift-wise targets to ensure high efficiency of workers To prepare reports related to production, machine stoppage, delivery to inspection, shade matching etc.
To assist in analyzing reasons for defected finished fabric
Coordinating in analyzing reasons for processing defectsby tracking production details in system, identifying workers handling the dispo etc. Attending meetings conducted in relation to correcting fabric defects.
To orient workers towards any fabric processing defects or machine faults.
Conduct daily shift-wise meeting with workers and discuss over the latest fabric defects identified Orienting workers about ways to prevent fabric defects Orienting workers to use safety equipment while handling risky processes To guide workers for finish trials for new specific finish related customer requirements.
To coordinate in smooth worker handling.
To allocate work-shifts to workers Communicating production plan on shift basis and assisting in machine allocation to operators Managing record of leave and absenteeism of workers Train workers for basic level machine maintenance and trouble-shooting
