🚀 Leadership Development Program – Controls & Automation Engineer
📍 Location: Mayfield Heights, OH / Southern California
💰 Compensation: $82,000–$84,000/year
🕐 Program Length: 1–2 years

About the Role
This role focuses on controls and industrial automation within a global company's Leadership Development Program (LDP). The program provides associates with the technical training, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to develop technical leadership and innovation skills.
You will build a strong foundation through the company's Engineer in Training (EIT) Program while gaining practical experience supporting industrial automation technologies across a variety of industries.
What You'll Do
• Strengthen technical and leadership skills through classroom training, mentoring, career planning, and networking
• Participate in the Engineer in Training (EIT) Program through formal training and hands-on learning
• Work with industrial automation technologies, including programmable controllers, process control, industrial Ethernet, motion control, information software, variable frequency drives, and industrial components
• Provide onsite troubleshooting assistance for automation technologies
• Install, replace, configure, and update control system equipment and software
• Advise customers on the proper use, operation, and maintenance of products and software
• Respond to customer needs and provide timely, high-quality support
• Assist with predictive and preventive maintenance programs
• Build collaborative relationships and contribute to a culture of integrity, diversity, and inclusion
• Travel as required within the assigned region/sub-region
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
• Willingness to relocate approximately every six months based on opportunities and rotations
• Graduated within the past three years with a technically focused degree
• Previous internship/event experience with the company
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative approach
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience collaborating with and/or leading others to achieve project goals
• Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
