Responsibilities
Market making across a range of financial instruments including bonds, interest rate products, NDIRS, and CCS
Conduct market analysis, leveraging digital tools and data to identify lucrative trading opportunities
Grow the bank’s franchise business by close collaboration with sales and structurers
Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to make informed trading decisions
Manage risk exposures by employing rigorous risk management strategies and tools, ensuring trading activities adhere to established guidelines
Stay ahead of market trends, developments, and regulatory changes, providing timely updates to stakeholders
Requirements
Degree holder in finance, economics, or a related business discipline
Minimum 10-15 years’ relevant experience in Asia interest rates trading, preferably with exposure in the China market
Extensive knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent decision-making abilities, coupled with the capacity to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions
Solid experience in utilizing advanced trading platforms, data, and analytics tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends
Proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese, and Putonghua
