Role Description:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, furniture, furnishings, and design development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop interior design concepts based on project requirements and client briefs.
Prepare mood boards, concept boards, material palettes and design presentations.
Create space plans, furniture layouts, elevations, detailed drawings and realistic 3D renders.
Select and coordinate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and decor.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
Assist with material sourcing and vendor coordination.
Participate in client presentations and incorporate feedback into design development.
Manage project timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Interior Design.
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture and décor.
Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Rendering Software or similar tools.
Strong presentation, communication and coordination skills.
Good eye for aesthetics, detailing and material selection.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Willingness to travel for site visits when required.
