This could be your opportunity to excel as a Water Remedials Consultant, playing a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of water remedial works for clients across the UK.
As the business continues to grow, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Water Remedials Consultant to join our team and take responsibility for assessing remedial requirements, developing scopes of work, preparing quotations and supporting the delivery of planned and reactive water remedial works.
This is a home-based role, with travel to client sites as required. We are seeking a proactive, reliable and commercially aware individual who is confident working independently while collaborating effectively with clients, engineers and internal teams.
A strong background in commercial plumbing, water systems or building services, together with knowledge of water hygiene, remedial works and health and safety requirements, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Assessing reports, site findings and client requirements to identify defects, remedial solutions and opportunities for follow-on works, including site visits where required.
Preparing scopes of work, RAMS and quotations, accurately assessing labour, materials, plant, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
Managing client relationships and coordinating with engineers and internal teams to ensure works are clearly communicated, appropriately scheduled and delivered to the required standard.
Providing technical support and guidance on remedial works involving cold water storage tanks, tank relining, pipework, TMVs, RPZ valves and water system disinfection.
Ensuring works are planned in accordance with relevant health and safety, water hygiene, Legionella and Water Regulations requirements, while monitoring costs, quality and completion.
To be a successful Water Remedials Consultant, you should be able to demonstrate:
Significant experience in commercial plumbing, water systems, water hygiene or building services, with strong practical knowledge of commercial hot and cold water systems.
Experience in assessing and specifying remedial works, particularly relating to cold water storage tanks, tank relining, pipefitting, TMVs and water system disinfection.
Experience producing RAMS, scopes of work and estimates, with strong commercial awareness and an understanding of labour and material costs.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and work independently in a home-based role.
Relevant plumbing qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, knowledge of Water Regulations / Water Byelaws, and a full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
