Digital Solutions Architect – GeoSCADA
Duration: 6 months, strong potential for extension
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Remote; must support EST/CST hours
Rate: $55–$80/hour (without benefits)
Must Have: Senior-level GeoSCADA + SCADA Architecture experience.
Seeking a Senior Digital Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy industrial automation and SCADA solutions for clients across manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities.
Required Skills
Strong GeoSCADA and SCADA architecture experience.
SCADA data modeling and system integration.
PLC programming: Structured Text, Function Block, Ladder Logic.
Experience with SQL and industrial communication protocols.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop SCADA solutions using GeoSCADA, AVEVA System Platform/Historian/PI, and Ignition.
Lead project teams, break down deliverables, and mentor engineers.
Integrate SCADA with PLCs/RTUs, OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP3, REST, JSON, and XML.
Develop scripts using .NET, Python, JavaScript, or VBScript.
Create/modify HMI screens, alarms, reports, SQL databases, and queries.
Configure, troubleshoot, test, commission, and upgrade SCADA systems.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Travel: Approximately 25% depending on project needs; most travel is planned in advance and shared with FTEs.
