About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer with strong experience in Windows infrastructure, Active Directory and enterprise security hardening.
The candidate must have practical, hands-on experience implementing CIS Benchmarks in Windows Server environments. This is a core requirement of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage enterprise Active Directory, Windows Server and Group Policy environments.
Implement CIS Benchmarks across Windows Servers and endpoints.
Implement Microsoft Security Baselines and Windows security controls.
Configure and manage GPO-based security policies.
Implement controls including SMB restrictions, USB/device restrictions, Windows security policies and other hardening measures.
Perform security assessments and gap analysis.
Develop and execute remediation plans for identified security gaps.
Test and validate security controls before and after deployment.
Manage vulnerability remediation and patch management activities.
Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO and related infrastructure issues.
Support enterprise data center operations and disaster recovery activities.
Automate infrastructure and security tasks using PowerShell.
Own infrastructure and security initiatives from assessment through implementation and validation.
Mandatory Skills
5+ years of Infrastructure / Windows Server experience
Hands-on CIS Benchmark implementation
Active Directory (AD)
Windows Server Administration
Group Policy (GPO)
Windows Security Hardening
Microsoft Security Baselines
Security Assessments & Gap Analysis
Vulnerability Remediation
Patch Management
PowerShell
Enterprise Infrastructure / Data Center Operations
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Mandatory Screening Requirement
Candidates must have personally implemented CIS Benchmarks in a Windows Server environment.
Candidates with only:
Helpdesk / desktop support
Monitoring experience
Routine AD administration
Basic Windows Server administration
without hands-on CIS Benchmark implementation will not be considered.
Preferred
Microsoft Security Baseline implementation
SCCM / WSUS or other enterprise patching tools
Vulnerability management tools such as Qualys
VMware / Hyper-V
Disaster Recovery
PowerShell automation
Enterprise-scale infrastructure experience
