Performance Marketer, Google Ads

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role leads paid acquisition on Google Ads for a fast-growing AI SaaS startup, scaling campaigns across multiple international markets. You will sit within the Performance Marketing team and own everything from campaign structure to conversion tracking, with full budget accountability and a clear mandate to drive measurable growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build, structure, and continuously optimize Google Ads campaigns across international markets.
- Manage large paid budgets (currently around €150k per month, with a roadmap toward €1M per month) with full performance accountability.
- Own tracking and conversion setup, including Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and offline conversion uploads.
- Design and run systematic tests of new campaign structures and landing pages, then iterate quickly from the results.
- Scale campaigns internationally while adapting strategies to local market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with Performance Marketing teammates and Go-to-Market managers to improve acquisition and conversion outcomes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven track record running Google Ads campaigns across multiple international markets and adapting strategy to regional differences.
- Demonstrated experience managing Google Ads budgets of approximately €150,000 or more per month with full performance ownership.
- Hands-on experience owning tracking and attribution setup using Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and offline conversion uploads.
- Strong analytical, structured, and data-driven mindset with a genuine bias toward testing and iteration.
- Experience in a growth-stage SaaS or tech startup environment is a strong plus.
- Excellent English communication skills; German language proficiency is a strong plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: €65,000 to €100,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
