Role Description The Junior Detailer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves preparing detailed structural steel and PEB drawings using industry-standard software under the guidance of senior detailers and engineers. The Junior Detailer will interpret design and architectural drawings, create shop and erection drawings, and assist in modeling structures using tools such as Tekla and AutoCAD. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project team members, updating documentation, ensuring drawings meet quality and accuracy standards, and responding to revision requests from clients and internal stakeholders. The role also includes maintaining organized project files, adhering to established detailing procedures, and supporting multiple projects as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in structural steel detailing, including reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings.
Candidates should possess basic proficiency in CAD and BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, and Revit or similar software.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, accuracy in drafting, and the ability to follow established standards and procedures.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, senior detailers, and project coordinators.
Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and project deadlines.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field is preferred.
Basic understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction practices is beneficial.
