Role Description The Software Tester Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune. The intern will assist in executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects in a clear and structured manner. Daily tasks include reviewing requirements and specifications, participating in test planning, and performing manual testing across web and mobile applications. The intern will collaborate with developers and other team members to verify fixes, help maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement of testing processes. This role offers hands-on learning and mentoring to build a strong foundation in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance to support systematic validation of applications.
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases to carry out planned tests and accurately log results.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify issues, interpret test outcomes, and suggest improvements.
Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with defect tracking tools or test management tools is beneficial.
Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Attention to detail, good documentation skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting.
