Role Description The Dibujante Planos role at Mistoa is responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans that support engineering, construction, and design projects. On a day-to-day basis, this role will interpret project specifications, convert concepts and sketches into detailed CAD drawings, and update plans based on feedback from project managers and engineers. The Dibujante Planos will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawings comply with standards, regulations, and client requirements, while maintaining organized documentation and version control. This is a hybrid role based in Querétaro, QUE, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home tasks depending on project needs.
Qualifications
Ability to produce precise technical drawings and plans using CAD or similar design tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience interpreting engineering or architectural specifications, blueprints, and layouts, and converting them into clear, workable drawings.
Solid understanding of construction or manufacturing processes, materials, and basic engineering or architectural principles.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, including version control, file management, and adherence to established drawing standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects or deadlines, and adapt to evolving requirements and feedback.
Proficiency with productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and project management tools) to support reporting and coordination.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, design, engineering, architecture, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Familiarity with local building codes, industry standards, or regulatory requirements in Querétaro and Mexico is an asset.
Previous experience in a similar Dibujante Planos, drafting, or technical design role is preferred.
