Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The intern will support the QA team in planning and executing software tests to ensure product reliability and adherence to requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing functional specifications, preparing and executing test cases, performing manual testing of web and mobile applications, and documenting test results and defects clearly. The role also involves collaborating with developers and product stakeholders to verify fixes, retest issues, and help maintain test documentation and QA checklists. The intern is expected to learn and follow established QA processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and communicate progress and issues in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Execution and Test Cases design and documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing and Software Testing of web or mobile applications.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Quality Assurance principles and basic understanding of QA processes.
Basic familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) and version control concepts is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in reporting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in building a career in software quality assurance and willingness to learn modern testing tools and methodologies.
