1. About Our Client:

2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Business Systems Administrator (NetSuite) is a key role within the Accounting team, reporting to the Controller. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s financial systems to support scalable, secure operations during rapid growth. The role ensures the reliability and efficiency of financial processes, drives automation initiatives, and customizes financial technology solutions to meet complex business requirements. It directly impacts the accuracy and performance of financial reporting and operations.
3. Responsibilities:
Administer financial systems including NetSuite, UKG, and Avalara
Provide day-to-day support and high-level assistance to system users
Own the financial technology stack, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Customize NetSuite and UKG based on stakeholder requirements through workflows and SuiteScripts
Ensure system reliability and data accuracy during month-end and year-end close processes
Develop customized financial reports
Troubleshoot system errors and workflow issues to minimize operational disruption
Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulations
Coordinate with third-party vendors and external consultants for complex issues and enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions and manage change processes
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field
5-7 years of experience as a NetSuite administrator or business systems analyst (NetSuite required)
Experience with UKG and Avalara preferred
Strong expertise in NetSuite configuration, administration, and SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 coding
Proven ability to architect integrations between NetSuite and systems such as HRIS, tax engines, and banking APIs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience in designing solutions and troubleshooting code
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and IT General Controls (ITGC)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Competitive compensation: $87,000 to $108,000
Eligible for annual performance-based incentive
