VP of Project Management

Role Description The VP of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery across Apollo Drone Services’ portfolio. This role leads project management teams, defines standards and best practices, and ensures projects are scoped, planned, and executed on time and within budget. The VP collaborates with operations, sales, and technical teams to align client expectations with project plans, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in processes and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project pipelines, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing resource allocation, and guiding program-level initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction. This leader also contributes to strategic planning, supports key client engagements, and fosters a culture of accountability, safety, and quality in all project activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Candidates should possess Program Management capabilities for overseeing portfolios of projects, setting standards, and driving cross-functional alignment.
Candidates should possess Project Planning expertise, including scoping, scheduling, resource planning, and risk management.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and financial management skills to forecast, track, and optimize project and program costs.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor KPIs, identify trends, and inform strategic and operational decisions.
Experience leading distributed or remote teams and building scalable project management processes and tools.
Background in construction, energy, infrastructure, or related industries, ideally with exposure to drone services, geospatial data, or inspections.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities, with a focus on client success and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
