About The Opportunity
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to provide care across multiple locations throughout Northwest Michigan.
This is a field-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical care team, delivering essential hearing services directly to patients in a consistent, well-supported environment serving senior populations.

The Setting
This opportunity operates across established long-term care and skilled nursing environments.

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.
What You’ll Do
• Perform hearing evaluations and assessments within your scope of practice
• Assess patients for hearing loss and determine appropriate hearing instrument needs
• Fit, program, and adjust hearing instruments
• Educate patients and facility staff on hearing instrument use and care
• Work alongside facility staff to coordinate patient care
• Deliver consistent, high-quality hearing care across assigned locations

Qualifications
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a mobile, multi-location setting
Schedule
• 2–3 days per week
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No billing or administrative responsibilities
