Staff Accountant

About the Company
A Fortune 200 global organisation is standing up its Global Capability Centre in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire. You will keep the day-to-day ledger accurate for a centre built to global standards from day one. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Staff Accountant, you will keep the day-to-day ledger accurate, supporting reconciliations, payables, and the monthly close so the wider finance team can rely on clean numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Transactions & Ledger
Record journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules
Process accounts payable and expense reports in line with policy
Reconcile bank and intercompany accounts
Close Support
Prepare schedules and workpapers for month-end close
Flag discrepancies early and help resolve open items
Keep documentation organised and audit-ready
Ideal Candidate Profile
2 to 5 years in accounting or general-ledger support roles
A firm grip on double-entry accounting and reconciliations
Comfort with a major ERP such as SAP or Oracle
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
B.Com or M.Com, with CA Inter a plus
Experience in a GCC or shared-services accounting environment
Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency ledgers
