About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Support Specialist (Non-Voice) to support billing operations for healthcare professionals across U.S. healthcare facilities. The role involves reviewing approved timecards, validating billing rates and contract terms, applying client-specific billing rules, generating accurate invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely billing cycles. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment using email and ticketing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Process approved timecards and generate accurate client invoices within billing timelines.
Validate work hours, billing rates, contract terms, and assignment details.
Apply overtime, holiday pay, shift differentials, markups, and other billable components.
Follow client-specific billing rules and support weekly, bi-weekly, and client-specific billing cycles.
Verify invoice calculations, billing allocations, rates, and overall invoice accuracy.
Research and resolve discrepancies related to timesheets, rates, assignments, approvals, and client requirements.
Escalate complex billing issues to the appropriate stakeholders when required.
Communicate and follow up with internal stakeholders through email, ticketing, and workflow tools.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and billing procedures.
Meet productivity, quality, service-level expectations, and billing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate/High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in billing, payroll, back-office, workforce, or healthcare staffing operations.
Knowledge of U.S. staffing, invoicing, payroll, or workforce processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Lookups, Filters, and Pivot Tables.
Experience handling large volumes of data with accuracy.
Familiarity with Billing, Payroll, VMS, ATS, Ticketing, or Workforce Management Systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
