Role Overview
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform specific patient care duties, provide valuable input for patient care plans, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions are essential to delivering high-quality care and supporting our healthcare team.

What You Will Do
Assist the RN in providing direct patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
CNA certification preferred.
