Role Description The AI Intern role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the development and enhancement of AI-powered learning solutions and related digital education products. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection and preprocessing, experimenting with machine learning models, and evaluating their performance for real-world EdTech use cases. The intern will collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams to prototype features, document technical workflows, and contribute to research on learning technologies. Additional tasks may involve working on small programming projects, analyzing user data for insights, and preparing reports or presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and propose data-driven solutions.
Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to Data Science techniques such as data preprocessing, visualization, and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model training, and evaluation.
Proficiency in Programming (e.g., Python, R, or similar languages) and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks used in AI/ML.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with distributed teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and present technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in EdTech, AI in education, and building solutions that improve learning outcomes and career readiness.
Prior project experience, internships, or personal projects in AI, data science, or software development are a plus.
