Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Data Engineer at PPStack. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support AI-powered learning solutions, analytics, and reporting across the organization. Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing ETL processes, developing and managing data models, and supporting data warehousing solutions for various products and services. The role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility for business stakeholders. The Data Engineer will also contribute to performance tuning, documentation, and best practices for data infrastructure in a cloud-based environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and building scalable data pipelines.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing for analytics and reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) development and orchestration.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics, including querying, visualization, and data interpretation.
Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).
Experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data stack tools.
Knowledge of big data frameworks, streaming technologies, or data orchestration tools is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
