5G Core Architect

First Point Group have partnered with a leading ICT company to find a 5G Core Architect to work a national carrier. This 5G Core Architect position can based 100% remote, this includes international candidates that can lives in countries that too follow US work hours.
As the 5G Core Architect you evaluate and define core network architecture, design and perform vendor selection to support the build-out of the carriers 5G network deployment.
Your 5G Core Architect your key responsibilities will include:
Part of the Infrastructure team to architect, setup, configure, analyze and troubleshoot different LTE & 5G core deployments and solutions;
Conduct research to evaluate new emerging technologies and maintain up-to-date trends in cellular / mobile network communication with a focus on 5G;
Work closely with various partners to support the various operational and developmental activities with the Team
Ensure the specifications and configuration of the 5G core solutions implemented are in line with the best practices.
Thorough understanding of Kubernetes application deployment building elements such as Deployments, Services, Persistent Volumes, and Configs
Implement and manage containerized cloud application platform solutions
Your 5G Core Architect your background and experience will include:
Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology;
At least 8 years of relevant experience in implementing and supporting cellular / mobile network communications and solutions;
Strong knowledge of cellular network systems and architecture including cellular cores,
Knowledge on LTE & 5G technologies, especially on 5G Core aspects and solutions across the different network functions such as AMF, UPF, PCRF, UDM, SMF, NEF;
Good communication skills with the ability to write and Prepare Documents and Solutions;
Ability to resolve complex problems from operational as well as technical perspectives.
Mandatory certification or Working experience with CKA Certification, Red Hat ( open stack), and Azure / AWS are required.
Configure the Kubernetes networking, Node group cluster Creation or upgrade, load balancer, pod security, and certificate management for the cluster.
