What you'll do
Client Acquisition & Ecosystem Expansion: Proactively identify and engage potential partners whose core trading relies on APIs, such as market makers, quantitative institutions, and brokers. Assess partnership potential and drive their integration into Bitget’s trading and liquidity ecosystem.
End-to-End Partnership Management: Independently lead the full cooperation lifecycle—from initial outreach and requirement analysis to commercial negotiation and agreement signing—ensuring balanced terms and efficient execution.
Client Operations & Issue Resolution: Continuously monitor client usage post-onboarding. Collaborate closely with Risk, Product, and Tech teams to rapidly resolve issues related to API integration, liquidity, and account management, ensuring stable and long-term partnerships.
Market Research & Internal Feedback: Regularly analyze competitor dynamics and client demands in the API trading sector. Translate frontline insights into actionable recommendations for product and strategy improvements.
Target Achievement: Align with the team’s annual/quarterly business goals and take ownership of key results, including the number of new institutional clients and API trading volume.
What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Marketing are preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition (within financial institutions, internet companies, or the blockchain industry). Candidates with existing resources or a proven track record in closing deals with market makers, brokers, or other API-focused clients will be given priority.
Industry & Technical Insight: Solid understanding of the digital asset trading ecosystem and the operational logic of high-frequency/quantitative trading. Possess a foundational IT background—able to read API documentation, understand interface calls and data transmission logic, and communicate effectively with technical clients.
Business & Communication Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to accurately identify client needs and propose actionable solutions. Highly self-driven and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Capable of working efficiently with Risk, Product, and Tech teams to resolve issues. Experience in project coordination or team leadership is a plus.
