Job Purpose:
To manage material planning, inventory, procurement coordination, and material movement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables for PEB manufacturing and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor material requirements based on production plans, project schedules, and BOM.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Stores, and Projects for timely material availability.
Prepare and monitor Material Requirement Plans (MRP) and material schedules.
Track incoming raw materials such as steel plates, coils, sections, accessories, fasteners, welding consumables, and other PEB components.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
Identify material shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory.
Coordinate with the Purchase team for pending purchase orders and expected delivery dates.
Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
Ensure proper material receipt, inspection, identification, and storage in coordination with Stores and QA/QC.
Support cost control by minimizing material wastage and unnecessary inventory.
Ensure compliance with company procedures related to material handling, documentation, and inventory control.
Coordinate material availability for dispatch and project/site requirements.
