An architecture practice is hiring a Senior Site Architect with an experience range of 8 to 12 years, for a full-time, site-based role on an under-construction data centre project in PharmaCity, Hyderabad. The role will represent the architectural team on site and coordinate with the client, consultants, contractors and internal design teams to support accurate and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the architectural representative on site and coordinate with the client and project management team.
Review GFC drawings, construction documents and consultant or contractor shop drawings for architectural coordination and compliance.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor architectural execution against approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Review and respond to architectural RFIs and site queries and escalate issues requiring design-team decisions.
Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants to resolve technical and architectural coordination issues.
Review architectural materials, finishes, mock-ups and workmanship against approved specifications.
Communicate site conditions, drawing requirements and design changes to the internal architectural team.
Maintain site records, inspection observations and design coordination reports.
Identify architectural execution issues and coordinate with relevant project stakeholders for resolution.
Support the architectural team with design and technical coordination activities when required.
Requirements
8–12 years of professional experience in architecture.
Bachelors in Architecture
Proven experience as a Site Architect or Project Architect on live construction projects.
Experience working on commercial building projects.
Experience with data centres or other large-scale technical facilities is preferred.
Strong understanding of architectural construction documentation and site execution.
Ability to read, review and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
Familiarity with Revit and BIM coordination workflows is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently on a project site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to be based at the project site in Hyderabad.
Work Schedule
Location: PharmaCity, Hyderabad
Working days: Monday to Friday (9:30 am to 6:30 pm)
