Person to be responsible for Regulatory affairs & permits for existing and upcoming Renewable Energy Projects in India.
Job Description
Policy Advocacy & Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor, interpret, and analyze central and state policies, tariff orders, regulatory developments, and case laws impacting renewable energy assets (solar, wind, hybrids, BESS).
Strategic Development Support: Provide regulatory due diligence, power evacuation/grid connectivity feasibility studies, and strategic advisory across pre- and post-commissioning project stages.
Stakeholder Management & Representation: Represent the company before regulatory commissions, government authorities, and industry bodies during public hearings and sector events.
Regulatory Drafts & Submissions: Draft comprehensive comments, petitions, replies, and rejoinders on proposed draft regulations to protect business interests as in when required in alignment to the Company's goal.
Statutory Compliance & Liaisoning: Facilitate high-level liaison with government departments and nodal agencies to secure required project clearances, grid interconnections, and statutory permits.

Required Skills and Competencies
B.E/B.Tech. from reputed/recognized university
Policy Analysis: Understanding energy laws, tariffs, and state or federal mandates like Renewable Portfolio standards
Grid Interconnection: Familiarity with transmission protocols, open-access regulations, and utility interconnection standards.
