Role Description This contract role is for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer & DBA with 6 to 10+ years of experience, based in Hyderabad in a hybrid work arrangement (onsite and work-from-home). The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications and data workflows. The developer will manage database administration tasks such as performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery, and ensuring data integrity and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implementing ETL processes, troubleshooting production issues, and delivering efficient solutions aligned with project timelines and standards. The role also requires documenting technical designs, adhering to best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of database and application performance.

Qualification:
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to understand complex business requirements, debug issues, and optimize database and application performance.
Candidates should possess expertise in Oracle Database Triggers and PL/SQL Programming to design, implement, and maintain robust database logic and automation.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate, cleanse, and migrate data across systems efficiently and securely.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including SDLC practices, version control, and testing methodologies, to deliver maintainable and high-quality solutions.
In addition, a strong understanding of Oracle database administration (performance tuning, backup/recovery, security), SQL optimization, and schema design is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 6 to 10+ years of relevant Oracle PL/SQL development and DBA experience, is preferred.
Effective communication, ability to work in hybrid teams, and familiarity with Agile or similar methodologies are advantageous.
