We are hiring a Software QA Intern on behalf of our client. This is a fully remote, paid internship for motivated individuals looking to build practical experience in Software Quality Assurance and begin their career in QA and software testing.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers and product managers to test web and mobile applications, identify software defects, and help ensure a high-quality product.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual and functional testing for web and mobile applications.
Review requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Execute test cases and accurately document testing results.
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not affect existing functionality.
Re-test resolved defects and verify that issues have been successfully fixed.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to investigate and resolve issues.
Perform exploratory and usability testing when required.
Contribute to improving QA processes, test documentation, and overall product quality.
Technical & Professional Requirements
Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA principles.
Understanding of manual testing and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Basic knowledge of test case creation and defect reporting.
Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with web and mobile application testing is a plus.
Basic knowledge of API testing and Postman is a plus.
