Role Description The Android Developer – Fresher will work on designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for the Android platform as part of the on-site team in Rajkot. In this full-time role, the developer will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to implement features, fix bugs, and optimize app performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, following Android design guidelines, integrating APIs, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves documenting technical work, assisting with app deployment processes, and learning modern Android development practices under mentorship. The developer will be encouraged to stay current with Android tools, frameworks, and best practices to contribute effectively to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mobile Application Development and working with Mobile Applications on the Android platform.
Candidates should possess skills in Android Development and Android Design, including familiarity with UI/UX guidelines and core Android components.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, including understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, and version control tools.
Basic knowledge of Java or Kotlin, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs is highly beneficial for this role.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback are important for success.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, collaborate within a team environment, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English is required.
